This Week in Ma On Shan:

Hey Family =) How are you all doing? I miss you all so much!! but i'm having a blast out here. I'm glad that krysty got the pictures up so everyone can see them. I'm gaining a little weight but my zone leader is pushing me every morning to exersice. we go jump rope by the river every morning. All the people here are calling me a Fei Jai. haha it letterally means fat boy. haha It's deffinatly pushing me to lose weight. any way, This week has been awesome. i seriously don't know where the time went.Ok so really quick background, when i first got to ma on shan there were sister missionaries that covered both Ma On Shan and Sha Tin. well they took them out this moves, so at the moment no sisters in ma on shan or sha tin. so any way we got there investigators and one of them is a 12 year old girl who's parents have been inactive for since before she was born. the sisters found the family somehow (because there name isn't on the ward list) and they started coming back to church. so now we're teaching the family and working with Jessica, the girl, and her mom really wants her to be baptised (it's nice to have the parents actually on our side) haha =) any way so we made dumplings with them this last week and just got to know her. she's really shy but really cool. i love her family too.We talked to mike the other day. he's been really busy this week but we had a chance to see him for a little bit. we read the conversion of alma and the story of enos with him. we told him that through prayer we can change our lives for the better and that God is there to help us. I could tell that he really felt the spirit. I know that even if he doesn't join the church now that he will later down the road. I love mike though. he is such an amazing example to me of humility and faith. i deffinatly see a future steak president in him =) hahaA huge miracle happened the other day. so I don't know if you all remember A-Fei from a few months ago. well he was our golden investigator and then out of nowhere he droped off the face of the earth. we've tried to call him millions of time but he never answered. so the other day we were eating lunch and i was telling Elder Posey (My Zone Leader) about A-Fei and how we've never been able to get ahold of him. he said why don't you try to call him right now. so i said ok let me see your cell phone and he did. so i dialed the number and it rang like it always does and then right when i expected the answering machine to come up, A-Fei answered!!! haha so i talked to him and scheduled him for later this week. haha Elder Posey had a huge "i told you so" grin on his face. haha so that's what's been going on this week. lots of miracles and blessings. =)Well family i love you all and i hope you have the most awesome week ever! Talk to you in seven days =)

Love Elder McAllister
