This Week in West Point:
Hey everyone =) how are you all doing? Oh my gosh i miss you all! I wish you all could be here with me experiencing everything with me. I love it in West Point so much! I love serving with Elder Chan but we're both pretty sure that they are going to take him away next week. next week is the end of moves. I can't believe how fast time has gone by!
Last weekend we had 24 hour zone exchanges. I got to go with Elder Plumb! It was so fun. he came to West Point and we had a couple teaching appointments so i got to teach with with him again! It felt just like the MTC but we could actually talk and understand (a little bit) Chinese now. It was way awesome! i miss teaching with elder plumb so much. He is just so chill and makes the Gospel exciting. it was really good to serve with him again even though it was short.
On Saturday the whole mission went the Theatre (Stage not Movie). it was a mime act or something. it was pretty cool but really weird. it was these four people from finland or somewhere that have a bunch of different masks and different weird things. it was interesting.
on monday we taught one of our really old investigators. she can't hear very well and she talks really lazy so i can't understand her too good. every time i tried to say something to her she would turn to elder chan and ask him what the heck i just said. haha she was a really nice old lady though and she said the sweetest prayer. she pretty much asked God to bless everyone she knew to have a healthy body. i know because she said each persons name =) haha it was awesome!
The other day we found this store that is all american food!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! They get all their food in bulk just like costco so they have these huge boxes of pop tarts, jelly bellies, ranch, cereal, nilla waffers, and a whole lot more. I was just drooling the whole time. elder chan doesn't even understand. haha he said that everything just looks like candy =) haha anyway we made good friends with the store owener so i hope that when we go back he'll give us a discount. =)
A couple days ago i finnished some language pass offs. i am now a Cantonese Language Giant. haha now i can start learning chinese characters!!!! i'm so excited!
Sorry i wrote so much. i need to save some things for when i get home =) haha i love you guys so much. if you ever need anything just let me know =)
