This Week in West Point:
Hey everyone! How are you all doing this week? I had a really fun birthday on monday. Mom sent a package of hostess cupcakes with a bunch of candles. it was pretty weird sticking 22 candles on to one cupcake. the flame was pretty big. My companions surprised me by ordering McDonalds and having it dilivered for breakfast and for dinner we bought a couple pizzas.
I'm really excited for the baptisms coming up this sunday. Candy and Keven have made a huge change and have come a long way. They are both really excited. when i called Candy last night she sounded so happy. Allison, who is getting baptised the following week, is doing amazing. every time we teach her something new she will tell us right away that she knows that it's true. I love the way she prayes. lots of Hong Kong people when they pray will always say what they are greatful for but they don't want to ask God for anything. it's just the Hong Kong culture to not ask for help. But Alison will always ask for help to improve and she always shares her opinion with Heavenly Father. it's hard to explain but it's really cool.
This week we have been getting ready for a talent show that we have tomorrow. our district is going to sing a song while i play the guitar and then we are going to do a light show. we will all have glowsticks and do a kung fu dance to the "Everybody Is Kung Fu Fighting" song. it's pretty interesting but really fun. i'm excited for it.
We saw Mr Leung the other day. he is so amazing. we didn't have to argue with him to say the closing prayer. we just asked him and he just did it. He also wants to get the tripple combination so he can read D&C. i look forward to teaching him every week. I love you all so much and i hope that you have an amazing week.
